So as many of my friends know I am currently traveling in Northern California. I am experiencing life, love, freedom, adventure, my true self and as much hooping as possible. I traveled to Burning Man with a crew of 8 people. Sharing hoop love at every opportunity, gas stations, camp sites, parties, with new friends. Its truly astounding how a hoop can bring about joy, bliss, meditation and a awakened familiarity with one's body. It's so simple, yet so effective. It can be anything you want it to be to you. It has been a crazy journey from Texas, burning man, festival after festival and now to Northern California. Hooping everywhere and giving away hoops to those whose soul has asked. I have recently attracted an LED hoopmaker named James. He is not even a hooper, rather an engineer with immense creativity. I desire along with hoops, to also spread the power that hoops and hoop making holds. A hoop when spun, twirled, revolved around ones appendage or body is creating a vortex of energy, a hoop itself is a Portal to infinite bliss. Think about this for a moment, one hoop is creating infinite bliss energy!
I am currently obsessed with the Sufi Whirling Dervishes. In the Mevlevi order in Turkey, these men dress in wide white skirts , cone felt hats an whirl as a form of mediation. This dance is an ancient ritual used by the dervishes to fall into a trance to empty himself of distracting thoughts, released from his body he conquers dizziness. Arms open and extended to receive love, with the right arm raised to the sky reaching towards God. They spin from right to left around the heart embracing all humanity with love.
